This past weekend Sturgeon Bay sparkled with winter magic during its annual Fire & Ice Festival, a celebration of art and community spirit. This year’s event, held February 14th and 15th, was bigger and better than ever, and Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar was a proud sponsor!
Remember how love songs used to sound
On Valentine’s Day, we set the mood with a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Vinyl DJ, Wired by Sound, spun classic hits from the 50s through the 90s, bringing back those cherished love songs and dance moves that proved some classics never go out of style. The energy was infectious, and the dance floor was alive.

Ice to meet you
The enchanting Door County winter wonderland was breathtaking. The falling snow and ice sculptures scattered throughout downtown Sturgeon Bay. Cherry Lanes served as a Door County Trolley stop for visitors to stay warm and easily visit the dozen frozen masterpieces sculptures throughout the city. A sailboat sculpted from shimmering ice stands proudly in front of Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar. Our large windows served as the best viewing spot in Sturgeon Bay to watch the ice come to shape. The intricate details of the vessel, catching the light like a thousand diamonds, were a testament to the artistry and skill of the ice carvers.

Tyler SJ’s Fire & Ice magic
On Saturday night, Tyler SJ added a special spark to our winter celebration. From his original songs to classic hits with a twist. His rendition of Prince’s Raspberry Beret – insert chefs kiss!

Winter drinks that will melt your heart
We’re Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar. Of course, we have the BEST winter craft cocktail menu in Sturgeon Bay. They are inspired by this festive weekend. Our Glacier Martini is the most perfect winter blue with a blue crystal sugar rim. Nearly too pretty to even drink, but it tastes even better than it looks!
And we added the fire with our Fireball Old Fashioned. A twist of the Wisconsin Old Fashioned, but with Fireball!
We also have a a Campfire Mule with toasted marshmallow and graham cracker on top. Beyond amazing!
If you missed this weekend, don’t worry because these special cocktails are available through the rest of the winter.
