Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar may be one of Wisconsin’s oldest bowling alleys, but it’s so much more.

Sturgeon Bay’s place to play since 1929.

Under new ownership and management and recently renovated, Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar is one of Wisconsin’s oldest bowling alleys. We are located in Sturgeon Bay’s historic district. Our building was built in 1929 as Congress Recreation Parlors, and it has continuously operated as a bowling alley ever since. The first floor restoration highlights the finest aspects of the building. It ranges from the exposed brick walls to the original terrazzo flooring. The large front windows and retro light fixtures deliver a bright and welcoming vibe unlike anything you’ve experience in Northeast Wisconsin.

From original 1950’s scoring tables with fully restored lanes to endless classic arcades and an impressive pinball line-up, we offer endless authentic Wisconsin fun.

We feature craft cocktails, an extensive craft beer selection, Baumeister Root Beer on tap, locally-sourced hot dogs and brats, homemade pizzas and snacks that delight.

Every week we offer Survey Slam trivia Friday nights and Thursday night karaoke. Most weekends, year-round we have live music or a DJ in-house. It’s always a good time at the ‘Lanes!’

The next endeavor for our nearly 100 year old building

In 2025, Cherry Lanes is developing affordable workforce housing that will include eight long-term apartments. Housing is crucial for Sturgeon Bay’s growing industry. Our building is a prime location and space, and fulfills a growing need in Sturgeon Bay.

Much of the profits from the Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar go to fund the construction of the second-floor units.

We’re hiring bartenders

We’re seeking a few enthusiastic bartenders to join our team. We’re seeking someone who will add a splash of fun to our arcade bar. This role involves crafting not only cocktails but also customer experiences.
